China The Cookbook is the latest country specific book to be released by Phaidon. It is available for pre-order now and will start shipping on the 19th of September 2016. China The Cookbook is a follow up to the previous great country specific book The Nordic Cookbook, Mexico, Peru and a few other great books.
China The Cookbook is no different than the others. Packed with more than 650 recipes all covering delicious and authentic Chinese dishes. All the dishes have been tested to work great in a home kitchen. Since China is such a massive country the authors have picked recipes from eight of the major regions.
You’ll get to try recipes like Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs and Dim Sums. But there will be lesser known stuff in there as well. How does a recipe for Fujian Fried Rice or maybe you’ll be cooking up Jiangsu’s Drunken Chicken at the next dinner party. There is also some additional recipes from star chefs from around the world.
About the Authors
China The Cookbook is written by Kei Lum and Diora Fong Chan. Both are known as top culinary authorities in China and they have extensive knowledge of all the eight major regional Chinese cuisines in the book. Kei Lum is the son of the famous Mr Mong Yan Chan who is the author of Food Classics. A series that had a huge influence of Chinese culinary culture.
