Dulse Seaweed that tastes like Bacon and has more nutrition than Kale

A seaweed that tastes like Bacon and is healthier than Kale? Yes this just might the thing to get us to eat less meat.

Researchers at Oregon State University have discovered and patented a seaweed tastes like bacon, yes bacon.

What they are using is Dulse, a red marine algae common in both the Pacific and the Atlantic. The seaweed is fast growing and has a high protein value as well as having twice the nutritional value of the so loved Kale.

Chef in the Portland area are currently experimenting with the seaweed and if it really tastes like bacon we don’t see how this can be very difficult to use on, you know. Everything.
