Separate egg yolk and white is something that needs to be done around the kitchen every once in a while and the past few years the water bottle hack for doing this easier have become popular around kitchens world wide. So popular that a company actually have “invented” a yolk sucking fish called the Yolkfish.
Although this hack have become so popular I can´t seem to figure out how this is so much better than the old fashion way? What was so wrong with just cracking the egg and separating the yolk from the white by letting the yolk move back and forth between the two shells? Either way below you can see videos of the Yolkfish, how to use the same technique using a water bottle and the old fashion way, that actually work fine as well, and will save you of some extra washing up.
